New White LED Indoor/Outdoor Fixtures Perform Better and Cost Less than Comparable LED Products
LIGHT+BUILDING – April 7, 2010 – Adding to the company’s suite of economical sustainable lighting solutions, Ecosense Lighting today unveiled the EcoSpec Landscape family of specifier-grade, LED white light fixtures for indoor, outdoor and landscape applications at Light+Building 2010. Available immediately, the new EcoSpec Landscape product family delivers a brighter, more energy efficient, and lower-priced alternative to similar LED-based fixtures on the market today.
Ecosense fixtures eliminate many of the challenges of traditional lighting — such as excessive heat, UV emissions, and insufficient bulb life. The EcoSpec Landscape family incorporates the company’s vast solid-state lighting expertise into two new products suited to a variety of indoor or outdoor white light applications, while delivering greater efficiency and more durability than traditional choices:
• EcoSpec Landscape Mini-Flood is an indoor/outdoor wash light fixture designed for lighting pathways, stairways, halls, and entrances. Neutral white and warm white color temperatures bring focus and drama to any landscape or architectural point of interest. Compact size and a beam angle of 45° or 90° offer flexibility for a wide variety of projects.
• EcoSpec Landscape Accent is ideal for creating a variety of warm or neutral white light effects both indoors and out. Available in both line voltage and 12-volt AC/DC models, this lightweight, compact fixture adds interest or draws attention to any attribute with a 12° or 26° beam angle.
Both the EcoSpec Landscape Accent and Mini-Flood are available in black, white and bronze paint finishes.
The EcoSpec Landscape Mini Flood and EcoSpec Landscape Accent are low voltage, RoHS compliant, lead-free and mercury-free. These dimmable, long-life, low-maintenance fixtures quickly pay for themselves in reduced maintenance, replacement, and energy costs and provide substantial savings over their 50,000-hour usage life.
